About Us
At Ashmore Nursing home in Stanton, 3 miles from Bury St Edmunds, we offer first-class nursing care for both private and NHS clients. We cater for clients who require nursing care, elderly care, physical disability nursing care and respite care.
We provide needs lead, individually focussed care that is responsive to people's needs and support our staff at all times to develop their skills and knowledge enabling them to provide effective care and support for the residents who use the service.
At Ashmore Nursing Home in Stanton we ensure that all our qualified nurses maintain their nursing registration, and provide training in Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and Mental Capacity Act Training. Our staff also receive training on how to protect people should they suspect them of being at risk of harm or actual abuse.
Our residents are consulted about their food preferences and our nursing staff are trained to monitor food and fluid intake appropriately in accordance with the client's needs.

Supervised Day Trips
We have forged good links with the local area and regularly arrange short excursions for our residents to enable them to take an active part in the local community. We also arrange day trips further afield such as the coast.
Daily Enrichment and Activities
We also have an Activities coordinator, Kirsty, who runs daily activities within the nursing home.
These activities are designed to be inclusive and keep our residents interested and active.
Onsite Visiting Health Services
We have bi-weekly (or more frequently if required) visits from a local hairdresser which take place in our purpose built room. We also have a fully qualified chiropodist who comes every 6 weeks and treat from the comfort of residents rooms.
